Lyrics:

1.Oh sleep little child, I'll hold you tight,
And whisper the story of a wondrous night.
When a Royal Babe, so dear, so small,
Was sent to earth to save us all.
He was born in a stable, this King divine,
He was sent from God to all mankind.

2.The scene was lit by a marv'lous star
Guiding shepherds and kings from afar.
The angel voices sweet and low
Were heard that evening long ago.
Good will to men and peace on earth
Were the messages brought at our Savior's birth.

3. Sleep little child, I'll hold you tight
While you dream a dream of that wondrous night.
He was born in a stable, this King divine,
He was sent from God to all mankind.
So sleep little child, I'll hold you tight
While you dream the story of a wondrous night.
